For å gi deg et lite overblikk over hvor vanskelig det er å gå opp i vekt: 1 kilo vektoppgang krever rundt 9000 kcal ekstra. 9000 kcal er den mengden kalorier du finner i 4,5 normale dagsinntak (for en jente på ca. 60kg) i TILLEGG til maten du allerede har spist. Dette er 3 kg gelegodteri eller litt over 8 STORE sjokoladeplater. Du går ikke opp i vekt bare av at du ser på en sjokoladebit, du går opp i vekt når du spiser 20 sjokoladebiter flere kvelder foran TV-en uten å tenke deg om to ganger – et overskudd over lengre tid. To give you a small overview of how difficult it is to gain weight: 1 kg weight gain requires about 9000 kcal extra. 9000 kcal is the amount of calories you find in 4,5 normal daily intakes (for a girl 60kg) in addition to the food you have already eaten. This is the same as 3kg with jelly sweets or 8 large chocolate bars (200g) . You will not gain weight just by looking at a piece of chocolate, but you will gain weight by eating 20 pieces of chocolate in front of the TV several evenings a week without thinking twice – well said!
