Only two phrases can change a woman’s mood: “I love you” and “50% off”.

Let’s see. Last time I updated I was in heaven after my facial and massage at New London Salon. My friday night was spent with kristina and a big enchiladas dinner. Saturday I cleaned my studio, did some laundry and waited for my man to arrive in Southampton. It was really good seeing him, even if it was only for one day since Kari came to visit me from Norway on sunday.

She’s only been here a couple of days, but I can honestly say I haven’t been a good student this week. Kari and I have been watching movies and talking all night, falling asleep at 6.am in the morning and sleeping in every day so far. Luckily for me my lectures were cancelled this monday and tuesday so I didn’t have to feel too bad about it. Eating a bunch of unhealthy foods, snacks and comsuming big amounts of coke is our plan for the rest of the week. We have also been to the Christmas market and done some Christmas present shopping. Homework will have to wait…

Last, but not least, I have to tell you another sign of typical “norwegian” behaviour. Me: “Kari, should we stop by Yates for english breakfast? Kari: “No, I’d rather eat a dry slice of bread”. Gosh.. even I was shocked.
